Here are the most commonly asked questions with answers. We are going to give you the truth.  No sales pitch here.

Q.  Why are the tractors so cheap

A.  Because they are imported from China.  China's labor rate is extremely low as compared to U.S. standards.  There is also no big name brand.  Almost all small tractors come from places outside of America.  Most come from Asia.  Even the big brands.

Q.  What is a crate deal?

A.  A crate deal is a tractor that is imported directly from the factory to a bonded warehouse, usually within 50 miles of where you live.  Its called a crate deal because the tractor comes in a steel shipping crate.

Q.  What is involved in assembling a "crate" tractor

A.  When you receive the tractor, it is crated in a steel container.  The container is bolted together.  You will need to remove the bolts to take the crate from around the tractor.  The tractor is partially disassembled so that it will take up less space for shipping.  You will need to bolt on the hood, fenders, rollover protection, and the wheels.  You will put the steering wheel on, and plug up the gauges and switches.  All of the electronics are pre wired, and just plug up.  Back hoe's and front loaders are fully assembled, but not attached.  You can plan on spending a weekend on the project.  It takes us about 4 hours, but we do it with air tools, and we have done a lot of them.

Q.  What are the major problems with the tractors?

A.  Leaks.  The tractors come with very light oil in them.  The purpose of the oil is to assist in the break in process.  You can just plan to take a wrench with you for the first few times you use the tractor.  If it leaks, tighten it.

After about 8 hours, and after you have run the tractor in every gear, you will need to drain all the fluids in the tractor and replace them with the best fluids you can get from NAPA.  You will also need to throw away the Chinese filters and replace them with high quality filters from NAPA.  After that process is complete the tractor will not normally leak any more.  The replacement fluids will be much thicker than the break in fluids.

Q.  What about service and parts?

A.  Parts are included for a period of one year from the time of your purchase.  If it breaks, we replace it.  The only exception is if you broke it.  You have to change those filters, etc.....

Jinma tractors are easy to work on, and most of the time the owners service the tractors themselves.  Parts are cheap, and almost everything is a direct replacement.  Take the old one off, put the new one on.

Should you run into a problem, there are dealers in many parts of the country that provide service.

Q.  Can I make money selling tractors?

A.  Click on "become a dealer" above to find out how.  You would be surprised to find out how much money you can make selling tractors even as a side job.  Your going to find out that once you get your tractor, your friends and neighbors are going to be asking questions.  Its the perfect time to make a little money on the side, or even full time.

Q.  How do I pay?

A.  You can pay in several ways.  If you are ordering a crate tractor, we require a flat $2,000 down payment when the tractor is ordered, and you will pay the balance when the tractor clears customs in the U.S.  It should give you comfort to know you are dealing with a U.S. company that has a physical address here in the United States.  If we sell you a tractor, we deliver a tractor.  We are bound by U.S. law and would like to stay out of jail, and in business.  We will be glad to provide our bank information to you for verification purposes.

If you would like to pay by credit card, its very easy.  We use paypal for security purposes.  Paypal is the most secure way to pay on line.  We send you an electronic invoice.  When you get it, there will be a button that you can click on to send payments by credit card, using the paypal system.   You can use VISA, Mastercard, and any other credit card accepted by paypal.   You do not need to have a paypal account.  You can even use two different credit cards. There is an additional 2.9% charge for using a credit card.  We do not mark the tractors up enough to cover that charge, so we must pass it on.  It is a very simple and secure process.

Q.  What about taxes?

A.  If you do not live in Tennessee we do not charge you sales tax.  You are on your own as far as reporting your purchase to your state for tax purpose.  We do not report to any state other than Tennessee.  Should you decide to report the purchase in your state, many states have exemptions on farm equipment, used for farming purposes.

If you purchase equipment from a dealer in your state, you will be charged state sales tax according to local law unless otherwise exempt.

Q.  What about shipping?

A.  If you are buying a crate tractor, shipping is FREE.

If you are buying an assembled tractor from our lot, we charge $2.00 per loaded mile from Memphis TN.
